6th: We are working with LCM and ratios this week.
7th: Time for a new chapter. This week starts our look at rational numbers.
8th: The 8th graders will continue looking at functions and rewriting equations.
Have a great week!
Mr. Q
Hello and welcome to another week of class! We are running into the second week of our final grading period. The weather will soon be changing and so will some of our daily routines. I hope we can continue to push ourselves to have a great end to the year. Remember the prize at the end of the year is your promotion to your next grade. This can only be accomplished by pushing to do your best. Don't settle for mediocrity. Try, try, try! You can do it!

Happy pi day- 3.14! If you don't know about pi, ask your students to share something about the math symbol and the value. We've spent time using pi off and on this year.
Well, the final grading period is upon us! I cannot believe March is half over and the final 9 weeks are here! What a great year we've had so far! We've learned a lot so far and we've got more to learn. So keep working hard and try your best. Make this quarter the best one all year! 6th: We will continue working with fractions- finding GCF, simplify, converting, and much more. 7th: Time to finish up the inequalities and start rational numbers- +,- fractions and their operations. 8th: We are continuing to look at functions and will also begin rewriting equations to solve for variables. Have a great week! Mr. Q The final week of grading period 3 is here. Good luck!
6th: We are working on number theory concepts- prime, composites, gcf, lcm, fractions, etc. 7th: We are working on inequalities- graphing, solutions, solving and writing 8th: We are finishing transformations and heading towards functions. Have a great week! Work hard! Mr. Q. |
