6th: We are finishing up inequalities and are headed to start fractions.
7th: Time to take an equation test this week before starting inequalities.
8th: We are taking a look at rotations, reflections, and dilations.
Have a great week!
Mr. Q
Time to buckle down for the final 2 weeks of the 3rd grading period. I hope you are willing to put in the effort to get those grades up or keep them the same. It was a pleasure meeting with you and your family during conferences.

6th: We are finishing up inequalities- 2 step and writing from word problems. 7th: This is the end of the equations unit and we get ready for fractions. 8th: The end of compound inequalities and a test this week. We will take a brief look at transformations in the coming days. Have a great week. Mr. Q The half-way point of the 3rd grading period has come and gone. How time flies! Our second round of student led conferences will be held next week, February 24 and 25 from 4:00-7:00. You will be seeing a reminder come home this week. Please sign up for a time to come and hear about the progress your child has been making this grading period. It is always nice to see you all come out and support your students.
6th: Time to solve and write inequalities- 1 and 2 step. They are also finalizing their million dollar projects. 7th- They will be solving and writing 1 step equations, in addition to looking at more word problems to help prepare for the common core test. 8th: We are finishing up with 1 and 2 step inequalities and will begin writing, graphing, and solving compound inequalities. Have a great week! Mr. Q P.S. Don't forget to stay after school in the learning lab to get caught up on your work or just to get your work done for the day. The time has come for you to get your mid term report for the 3rd grading period! Is it what you wanted? How do you improve? What can you do to keep it where you are? I hope you take a long look at your current grades and work to get better. It's not too late to get where you want to be by March 10! Time has gone by so quickly and it will go even faster! Take time to visit the lab after school, it's a great resource!
6th: Still working on the million dollar project- Due February 19. They will also be looking at graphing inequalities and finding solutions. 7th: Time to move on from geometry for a bit and look at writing and evaluating expressions. 8th: Moving right along, we head to simple and compound inequalities- solving and graphing. Have a great week! Mr. Q |
